GSHR Udayana

Resource Center on Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights Studies Udayana (GSHR Udayana) is an organization that becomes a forum for anyone concerned with issues related to gender, sexuality and human rights. The idea of forming this organization happened during a Psychology competition in Malang, in which the three founders became finalists by bringing a study on gender issues. On October 13 2017, the day this organization was formed, the volunteers acknowledged their readiness and commitment to become functionaries of this organization. The name of “Udayana” from this organization stands for the king who ruled Bali in the 10th century, and also due to the organization itself is based in Bali, especially in Badung and Denpasar.
